Our client works at the intersection of strategy, commercialisation, communications and technical advisory, helping organisations take new technologies from concept through to commercial deployment. Their work spans advanced energy technologies, with particular expertise in nuclear energy, fusion and other emerging clean technologies. Location: Remote (UK, Australia or USA) We are seeking a Lead Strategy & Commercialisation Consultant to join a growing international consultancy supporting some of the most innovative organisations within the clean technology sector. Working closely with technology developers, investors, government organisations and commercial clients, you will lead strategic consulting engagements from initial scoping through to project delivery. You will combine strategic thinking, commercial awareness and technical understanding to help clients navigate complex commercialisation challenges. Alongside leading client engagements, you will mentor junior consultants, contribute to business growth and collaborate with specialists across strategy, communications and technical advisory disciplines. Typical responsibilities: Lead complex strategy and commercialisation projects across advanced energy and clean technology sectors, particularly nuclear and fusion. Develop technology commercialisation strategies, market entry plans and technology roadmaps. Work directly with international clients, including government organisations, investors, start-ups and established technology businesses. Manage project delivery, ensuring quality, timelines and client outcomes are achieved. Support organisations throughout the commercialisation lifecycle, from early-stage innovation through to market deployment. Contribute to thought leadership, strategic partnerships and business development activities. Requirements You will bring a combination of technical credibility, commercial thinking and consulting experience, alongside the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to a wide range of stakeholders. We're particularly interested in candidates with: A technical background in engineering, physics, applied science or a closely related discipline, or demonstrable experience developing strategy within these sectors. The ability to move between high-level strategic thinking and detailed commercial analysis. Experience managing complex consulting or strategic projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working effectively within remote, international teams. A genuine interest in clean technology, sustainability and the future of energy.
